What we collect about you as a user

When you create an account and use our systems, we collect:

  • Account information - name, email address, telephone number, company name, and role
  • Usage data - which contacts you run profiles on, when, and from which IP address
  • Billing information - payment details processed via our payment provider
  • Authorisation confirmations - logged per profile run with timestamp and account ID
  • Communications - emails and support requests you send to us

Why we collect it

  • To provide and operate House of Opula services including Opula Client DNA and Opula Predictive Risk Management
  • To maintain a log of data authorisation confirmations for compliance purposes
  • To process billing and manage your account
  • To respond to support requests
  • To improve our systems based on usage patterns

Our lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of contract performance - to deliver the service you have signed up for - and legitimate interests in operating and improving our systems. Billing data is processed as necessary for contract performance.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with third-party providers necessary to operate our services - our payment processor, hosting provider, and CRM system. All third-party providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely.

Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 12 months following termination. Authorisation logs are retained for 12 months. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data at any time. Contact privacy@houseofopula.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this notice

Material changes will be communicated by email and posted at houseofopula.com/privacy/advisors with an updated effective date.
